Avengers 4 Trailer Isn’t Releasing Tonight

Fans have been waiting patiently for Marvel to drop the very first teaser trailer for Avengers 4 today after speculation started circulating online that the studio might release the video after Collider's special screening of Avengers: Infinity War, but it looks like the release has been delayed.

Yesterday, the Marvel fanbase was sent into a frenzy when word came out that Collider was going to hold a special Avengers: Infinity War screening event followed by a question and answer session with Marvel directors Joe and Anthony Russo. While Marvel did not confirm a trailer release for the event, fans started speculating that the teaser for Avengers 4 could very well be released after Collider's special screening.

Many suspected that Marvel would release the trailer during the last week of November – after all, Marvel did drop the teaser for Infinity War on Wednesday, November 29, last year. Many were hoping that the studio would do the same for Avengers 4.

However, it seems like Marvel has yet to release the trailer, even after Collider's special screening and Q and A. Entertainment Weekly news writer Anthony Breznican has also confirmed the matter of missing trailer on social media, taking to Twitter to dismiss the rumors surrounding the promotional video.

It's definitely been an interesting turn of events – one that would disappoint Marvel fans all around the globe. Yet, as disappointing as it may be, a delayed trailer can only intensify the anticipation for Avengers 4, which is a pretty smart move on Marvel's end. We can't wait to see how long the fanbase can wait like this.

Avengers 4 hits cinemas May 3, 2019.
