The end of Avengers: Infinity War left a lot of questions for Iron Man characters Tony Stark and Pepper Potts. For one, we don't know how Tony will manage to get back to Earth, and we also have hints that Pepper might actually be pregnant. Thanks to Gwyneth Paltrow, however, we may have confirmed that the two will definitely have a reunion.
Paltrow posted this in the midst of the Avengers 4 reshoots:
Though a lot of people are guessing that Tony Stark will die in Avengers 4, I'm actually hoping that he just gets to live out his days in the MCU offscreen. If anyone were to die, I think Steve Rogers would be the more fitting sacrifice. His main love interest has died anyway, and there are already two more characters ready to take on his mantle.
Going back to the Starks, though, a lot of people are dead sure that Pepper was holding back pregnancy news in Infinity War. It's curious what's going to happen now what with all the ramifications from the previous movie.
If anything, I hope the Russo Brothers planned this part two really well. After the spectacle that was Infinity War, the hype is on for the pair to deliver one hell of a closer for this chapter of the MCU.
Avengers 4 comes out May 3, 2019.
