We finally got our first look at the main characters of Netflix's live-action Avatar: The Last Airbender series and the key visuals prove that the cast members have truly embodied the first four members of the Gaang.
Now the Aang and Zuko actors are discussing which form of bending would be best for them personally and it proves that Gordon Cormier and Dallas Liu are perfect for their respective roles.
Gordon Cormier and Dallas Liu Discuss Their Favorite Form of Bending in Avatar: The Last Airbender
The cast of Avatar: The Last Airbender recently attended TUDUM 2023 in Brazil where they unveiled the first teaser and key visuals for the Netflix series. While they were on the red carpet, Gordon Cormier and Dallas Liu were asked about their personal choice of bending and their answers were perfect for the characters they play.
Dallas Liu declared that firebending is the absolute best form of bending while Gordon Cormier commented as the Avatar and deemed his response as "semi-evil." The two actors then laughed about their answers just like Aang and Zuko sharing a joke.
It's only a short part of the interview but it was immediately clear that the two were perfectly cast in their roles. Needless to say, we can't wait to see them as the live-action Aang and Zuko next year.
Another notable interaction at TUDUM 2023 was the meeting between the cast of Avatar: The Last Airbender and One Piece. This was the first time that the main cast for the live-action adaptations have made a public appearance and it was awesome to see their interaction.
Avatar: The Last Airbender will star Gordon Cormier, Kiawentiio Tarbell, Ian Ousley and Dallas Liu as Aang, Katara, Sokka and Zuko, respectively.
