As fans eagerly await the return of Attack on Titan, a new stage event for the series revealed interesting new details, including the fact that Attack on Titan The Final Season Part 3 is confirmed to be the last installment of the anime series.
This means the third part of the Final Season should see the conclusion of the story and is set to cover the remaining chapters of the manga.
Attack on Titan The Final Season Part 3 New Key Visual
Attack on Titan is an anime series that’s based on the manga of the same name by Hajime Isayama that was serialized monthly in Bessatsu Shonen Magazine from September 2009 to April 2021.
It is one of the best-selling manga titles ever as it has over 110 million copies in circulation as of September 2022.
The anime series is also incredibly popular all over the world ever since the first season premiered over a decade ago.
The first three seasons of the anime were produced by Wit Studio. Though for the multi-part final season, production was moved to anime studio MAPPA.
Though it’s called The Final Season, it is divided into multiple parts, with the first two being released in 2020 and 2021, respectively.
In the recent stage event for the anime, new details about Part 3 were revealed, including an imposing new key visual that features Eren in his Founding Titan form. The visual was also shared on the show’s official Twitter account.
Surrounding Eren is Mikasa, Armin, Connie, Jean, Levi, and Reiner. This new visual suggests that the former scouts are on a collision course with Eren in his massive Titan form.

AOT The Final Season Part 3 Stage Event
One of the biggest reveals during the stage event is that this next part will see the end of the series’ story. This means anime-only viewers will get to see a complete adaptation of the manga.
It will be interesting to see how the anime adaptation will handle the series’ ending.
After all, the Attack on Titan manga ending has proven to be quite controversial, with many fans expressing their dislike of it online.
While it’s confirmed that the anime will end in the upcoming third part, there’s no word yet on a specific release date for Attack on Titan The Final Season Part 3.
Though it is confirmed to premiere sometime in 2023.
