While Reiner, Eren, and Porco are fighting, Eren ends up fatally injuring Porco. Zeke regains consciousness and notices that he's been shot. Colt and Falco approach him, and Colt begs Zeke not to scream because Falco consumed Zeke's spinal fluid. Zeke empathizes with Colt, saying he understands his feelings for his brother — but also apologizes right after.

Zeke screams, transforming everyone who drank his spinal fluid into Titans. Colt embraces Falco during the transformation and ends up getting burnt. Zeke tells Falco to eat Reiner, but Falco ends up eating Porco after he offers himself. Meanwhile, the Scouts are fighting with Pieck and Magath's group. While Reiner is attempting to restrain Eren, Eren hardens himself and escapes. Eren quickly runs towards Zeke, but Gabi shoots Eren, decapitating him.

Eren finds himself in the Paths, where he meets Zeke, who is bound by chains. Zeke briefly tells him about the Paths and asks Eren to command Ymir to euthanize all the Eldians. Eren reveals his true colors, stating that he never had the intention to go with Zeke's plan, which he thinks is messed up. However, Zeke also reveals that Ymir only follows those who possess royal blood. Zeke makes his chains disappear and again makes another attempt to convince Eren to change his mind.
