It's almost time for the premiere of Attack on Titan The Final Season Part 3 but we still go an awesome new update on the anime's return. The official title of Attack on Titan Episode 88 has been revealed along with the synopsis and a powerful new key art.
Attack on Titan Episode 88 Gets Official Title, Synopsis and Key Art
The new key art for Attack on Titan Season 4 Part 3 has been shared by the anime's official Twitter account. The illustration features Hange Zoe standing alongside Levi Ackerman and although Hange looks shocked, Levi is holding his fist to her heart in what could be a reminder of what needs to be done in the final season.
The post also features a link to the official Attack on Titan website which has been updated to reveal the premiere title and synopsis. The title of the upcoming season is simply Final Arc (First Part) ["Kanketsu-hen (zenpen)"].
The official synopsis for Attack on Titan Episode 88 reads as follows:
"Eren has invoked The Rumbling to destroy the world. Countless giants begin to advance and crush everything. Mikasa, Armin, Jean, Connie, Hange, Annie, Pieke, and the critically injured Levi. Those who remain must face the final battle to stop Eren."
What Is The Attack on Titan Episode 88 Release Date?
Attack on Titan The Final Season Part 3 has already been confirmed to be split into two cours with the first cour airing in March. The second cour is believed to still be in production and is expected to premiere later in the year. However, there is also a possibility that the latter episodes will be broadcast as part of the Winter 2024 lineup which means it could air sometime in January next year. The first cour of Attack on Titan Season 4 Part 3 will premiere on March 4, 2023.
