Levi Ackerman Trends as Attack on Titan Fans Celebrate His Episode 82 Return

It has been a long time since we caught up with Levi Ackerman, who was last seen in the premiere episode of Attack on Titan Season 4 Part 2. In fact, some fans were worried that he was killed after his encounter with Zeke Yeager. However, it looks like Levi is finally back and people are celebrating his return in Episode 82!

Levi was actually the first character we saw in Attack on Titan: The Final Season Part 2 as the premiere episode opened with Hange Zoe and the Jaegerists finding his body. As Zeke emerged from a Titan's body, Hange used the distraction to escape with Levi into the river.

Since then, we haven't seen or heard from Levi and Hange considering that the anime has been busy with the battle and Eren Yeager's ultimate plan. However, things changed in Attack on Titan Episode 82 as Pieck Finger and Theo Magath encounter Hange as she calls out to them.

The episode concludes with Hange explaining that the Marleyans should not worry about her or her injured companion who is being pulled in a sled by a horse. Hange goes as far as pointing out that her companion is just a harmless man who refuses to die.

We only got a brief second to see Levi in Attack on Titan Episode 82 but the bandaged image of the beloved character was enough to have fans celebrating his return and causing Levi's name to trend on Twitter.

For now, it is unclear if we'll get to see Levi in action right away. After all, he is still heavily injured and is unlikely to be back on his feet soon. Still, it's a promising conclusion to this week's episode and we can't wait to find out what will happen next.

Attack on Titan Season 4 Episode 24 is titled Pride ("Kyoji") and shares its title with Chapter 126 of the manga. Episode 83 will air on Monday, February 21, 2022, at 12:05 AM JST.
