Crisis on Infinite Earths was the most ambitious Arrowverse crossover yet and there's no plans of slowing down. The five-part event brought together the Arrowverse heroes and made DCEU a part of its multiverse with a surprising cameo of Ezra Miller's The Flash. And now, the next crossover is already planned.

Arrow co-creator and Crisis showrunner Marc Guggenheim recently teased the crossover on his Twitter account. "We already know what next year's crossover will be," he wrote. A fan was surprised by his comments about the crossover to be released next year, but Guggenheim later clarified that he was referring to the "next SEASON." You can check out his tweets below.

Crisis served both as an end of an era and a fresh new start for the heroes and the people. Though there will certainly be a crossover for next season, Guggenheim made it clear in a previous interview that it won't be as massive as Crisis. He also mentioned that it could be a story that returns "to the roots" of the crossovers. "And I'll leave it to people to interpret what that means," Guggenheim teased.

Of course, Guggenheim can't go into detail yet with regards to the next crossover, but given the shocking events and surprising character appearances that were featured in Crisis, it will likely be nothing short of epic. The established Arrowverse heroes now exist on the same Earth so it'll be interesting to see what happens next with a new version of multiverse that exists.
