Amid the alleged worsening feud between Prince Harry and Prince William, many wonders if the two brothers still talk. In a recent interview with Anderson Cooper on 60 Minutes, Meghan Markle’s husband revealed the truth.
Prince Harry claimed that he hadn’t talked either to his brother, Prince William, or father, King Charles, as of late. Royal sources, alternatively, revealed why the Prince of Wales chose not to speak to his younger brother.
Prince Harry Reveals If He’s Talking to Either Prince William, King Charles
Anderson asked the Duke of Sussex if he still speaks or texts with the heir apparent.
“Currently, no,” he simply answered.
He continued that he wanted to “find peace” and tried to change the topic before the host interrupted him with another question.
“How long has it been since you spoke?” Cooper’s following question.

“A while,” Prince Harry answered shortly.
He then again asked if he ever spoke to his dad.
“We aren’t—we haven’t spoken for quite a while. No, not recently,” the former senior royal explained.
Prince Harry Wants to Reconcile with the Royal Family
Prince Harry still wishes to reconcile with the royal family despite not speaking to each other.
“The ball is very much in their court, but, you know, Meghan and I have continued to say that we will openly apologize for anything that we did wrong, but every time we ask that question, no one’s telling us the specifics or anything,” he stated. “There needs to be a constructive conversation, one that can happen in private that doesn’t get leaked.”
However, Cooper asked him if they could still trust him.

“How do we know that you’re not gonna reveal whatever conversations we have in an interview somewhere?” he questioned
“This all started with them briefing, daily, against my wife with lies to the point of where my wife and I had to run away from our count—my country,” Prince Harry shot back.
He believed the royal family could be more functional without the British press.
“I really look forward to having that family element back,” he continued. “I look forward to having a relationship with my brother. I look forward to having a relationship with my father and other members of my family.”
Prince William Allegedly Chose Not to Talk to Prince Harry
Meanwhile, a source revealed the idea of a reconciliation between the two brothers is highly unlikely after Prince Harry unveiled private details of his conversation with the royal family.

“There’s a great sense of mistrust, it’s why William won’t speak to Harry, because he is nervous that anything he says might end up in a book or a TV series,” the insider explained, via Vanity Fair. “It makes it incredibly difficult for any kind of rapprochement. There has to be given on both sides, and I don’t see that happening any time soon.”
