AOA Jimin Bullying Allegations 2021: Co-Member Mina Says There Is Evidence Of The Group Leader's Mistreatment

The plot thickens on the bullying scandal that has grappled Shin Ji-min, the former leader and main rapper of the South Korean girl group AOA, as her co-singer, Kwon Mina today revealed more details about the alleged bullying.

Plus, Mina also said there is evidence to support the fact that Jimin indeed bullied people. She said the former girl group's leader bullied four people, including herself, adding one of her victims has already passed away.

AOA Mina's took to social media to reveal the details

In her September 6th post on her official Instagram account, @kvwowv, the K-Pop singer revealed details of the alleged bullying of her former bandmate.

"I'm almost 30 and you think I can't even curse out?" Mina wrote in Korean, translated by media outlets like Allkpop, "Scared by hate comments? I'm determined to succeed because of the hate comments not that I will cry over those. Talk as much as you want. I'm better living as me."

The story of Jimin's alleged bullying has been running in various media outlets for several months now. It could be remembered last July of 2020, the former AOA leader has decided to quit the girl group as the bullying accusations against her escalated, with more issues surfacing.

"From this time, Jimin has decided to leave AOA and stop all entertainment activities. We also take responsibility for this situation and make every effort to manage artists better. We apologize again for causing concerns," FNC Entertainment, the agency of AOA, said in their official statement that time.

AOA is a K-Pop girl group that performed songs such as "Oh BOY," "Elvis," "Lemon Slush," "Runway," "Give Me The Love," "Still Falls The Rain," "Bing Bing," "Melting Love," "With Elvis," and so much more.

AOA Mina's Past Sexual Assault

Mina added in her statement on social media that she wants to become as much as possible honest, saying it has become more difficult to "revert," leading to her frustrations. She stated:

"If you think I shouldn't because I'm a public figure or they won't treat me as a public figure, I am ready to let go of that."

She is also saying there is evidence that supports the fact that the AOA leader bullied various individuals, noting she just happens to be "the last standing one." However, she has clarified she was only bullied by Jimin allegedly, and not by the group.

Meanwhile, the police have also launched an investigation over the sexual assault involving Mina.

During the previous week, the Busan Metropolitan Police has launched their investigation over this matter, following the K-Pop girl group member's revelation on the September 1st episode of "Blessed Show" that she was sexually assaulted when she was 14 years old.

The police said:

"The Woman's Youth Crime Investigation Team is investigating former AOA group member Mina's sexual assault case. We can't reveal details because the investigation is ongoing."
