Captain America: New World Order is bound to showcase Sam Wilson as the new Cap of the new Avengers team, and one of the many great expectations MCU fans should look forward to is the iconic thirsting over Captain America’s ass.
This turned into a trend back when Scott Lang's Ant-Man commented on seeing Cap's back view in the past, "As far as I'm concerned, that’s America’s ass!” in Avengers: Endgame. Now, despite no longer seeing the appearance of Chris Evans’ asset, Anthony Mackie promises he is not here to disappoint in taking over the mantle.
“I’ve had about four costume fittings and the round brown is looking delicious in the spandex, baby. That’s all I’m gonna say.” Mackie told in a recent interview with the Happy Sad Confused podcast with Josh Horowitz.

“You know what I’m talking about. The round brown is going to make you as happy as peanut butter and jelly on a summer day, baby. You know what I’m talking about. Mmm mmm…” Mackie added a little teaser on the camera angles we can expect in the new Captain America film, “I’m talking about straight solo shots, like as I go running by, the camera’s going to be here [gestures down]. You know what I mean… it’s not about diameter, it’s about radius.”
Seeing as how The Falcon and the Winter Soldier duo do not shy away in reminiscing over losing Steve, as well as Marvel Studios’ tendency to keep a running MCU joke alive for the fans, there’s a good chance the camera angles could easily turn back the little hints of comic relief in the franchise.
One of the missing key features Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania faced is not only the post-production mishap, but even the heart and comedy behind the Ant-Man franchise, as MCU fans continuously pointed out. However, now that Mackie is in for a treat to his fans, maybe Marvel could dial back on the seriousness behind Kang’s MCU entrance and have a little fun for a change.
Captain America: New World Order is currently slated to premiere on May 3, 2024.
