The Good Place star William Jackson Harper joined Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania in a mystery role back in October last year. That said, Harper is the second The Good Place cast to join the MCU, with the first being Jameela Jamil in She-Hulk: Attorney At Law. Seeing as the release for the third Ant-Man film is right around the corner, Harper’s mystery role has finally been unveiled in a recent new image of the Paul Rudd-led threequel.
The excitement begins to bubble more upon getting more new actors to join the MCU. At this time, William Jackson Harper’s role had just been revealed in an exclusive first look released by Empire, which you can get a closer look at HERE.
According to Empire, Harper’s character is simply known as “Quaz.” As usual, Marvel keeps a tight lip around any potential plot spoilers and character details on Quaz, other than having telepathic abilities, which could be proven useful in the Quantum Realm seeing as the characters got separated along the way. As seen in the photo above, Harper as Quaz also seems to be standing beside Katy M. O’Brian’s Jentorra.
While plot details are being kept under wraps, here’s to hoping Quaz gets a huge role in the film, potentially one that could involve a long-running sequence in joining Scott Lang and his family on defeating Kang the Conqueror in the Quantum Realm. With Kang determined to dominate the multiverse for his own evil plans, the Marvel heroes are going to need all the help they can get.
The cast of the Ant-Man threequel includes Paul Rudd, Evangeline Lilly, Jonathan Majors, Michael Douglas, Michelle Pfeiffer, Kathryn Newton, Bill Murray, David Dastmalchian, Randall Park, William Jackson Harper, and Katy O’Brian. Peyton Reeds returns to direct the film.
Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania will premiere in theaters on February 17. Check out more details about it here.
