Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania New Image Shows Janet Van Dyne in a Familiar But Dangerous Turf

A new set of images has been shared by USA Today for all the highly anticipated movies coming this year and for Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, it features Janet Van Dyne in the Quantum Realm, with Hank Pym and her daughter, Hope, looking at something bright.

In the past two Ant-Man films, Hank Pym has been working hard to recover something from the Quantum Realm and she is none other than the love of his life, Janet Van Dyne. In Ant-Man 2, they were successful in getting her back but she was blipped by Thanos shortly after.

See, Janet Van Dyne is no stranger to the Quantum Realm being trapped there for decades before being saved by Hope in Ant-Man 2. Janet shared that the place is a dangerous one and being there once more in Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, with her family, doubles the trouble for them.

Other than being dangerous, Janet hasn't shared much about the Quantum Realm aside from time and space working different there. Now, they will be facing everything Janet had to go through before but it seems they've been split up at first.

The trailer of Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania showed that Janet, Hope, and Hank weren't the only ones sent to the Quantum Realm, father and daughter Scott and Cassie Lang were also trapped somewhere in an unfamiliar territory.

It was all because of Cassie's new invention, a Quantum Beacon, which sends a signal to the Quantum Realm, and that device sucked them into the microverse where they will encounter the next big threat to the Marvel Cinematic Universe for the next two phases, Kang the Conqueror.

Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania arrives in theaters on February 17, 2023.
