Naksu, a powerful sorceress who becomes an assassin, hides her soul in a blind woman who encounters a young man from a prestigious family who eventually seeks her help changing his future.
Spearheaded by Jung So Min, Lee Jae Wook, and Hwang Minhyun, Alchemy of Souls, is aired on tvN. It was written by the Hong sisters, Hong Jung Eun and Hong Mi Ran.

Alchemy of Souls Episode 1 sees a brief visual about soul shifters and sorcerers who have dominated the old empire.
Twenty years later, Nak Soo stands alone on a frozen lake, revealing her strong presence beyond an army from the palace that is tasked to take away her life.
As her powers get shaken amid indiscriminate attacks from the army and Park Jin, who also seems to be one of the mages who can control the energy from the lake, Naksu is forced to flee and save her soul with one last spell.
She gets trapped in the body of the blind, weak-minded Mu Deok Yi and succeeds in hiding her soul from Park Jin.

It turns out that Mu Deok Yi is an enslaved person who has been sold to a brothel. Naksu had no idea that her soul would get attracted to the weak young woman’s body, but she decided to stay for a while as soon as her power returned.
However, Mu Deok Yi immediately gained back her sight as soon as Naksu’s soul arrived in her body. She escaped the brothel and had crossed paths with Jang Uk.
Mu Deok Yi gets bought by the Jang family and is taken into the residence to be the young master’s attendant. After a few bickering, Mu Deok Yi settles in, but her urge to reclaim her body from the Songrim remains.

She discovers that Jang Uk has the key so she can get to the Songrim. As soon as she arrived, assassins appeared and had the Training Center on fire.
Seo Yul and Dang Gu immediately return to the Training Center to check on their uncle. But as soon as the two mages reported to Park Jin, he became warry as no one was left in the Jeongjingak, where Naksu’s body and sword were hidden.
And all while Mu Deok Yi was sneaking into the Jeongjingak, Jang Uk found her and pulled her away from Seo Yul’s chase. He then proposes the very reason why he was drawn to her.

Alchemy Of Souls Episode 2 has already been released on Sunday, June 19, 2022, at 9:10 PM KST, a day after the first episode premiered.
The much-anticipated Kdrama is available for online streaming through the global platform Netflix in selected countries and in tvN in South Korea.
