Jinxed At First Episode 2 sees Soo-Kwang waking from a dream involving Seul-bi. As he prepares to go to his work at the market, he felt that something special will happen.
And it really came true. While the other merchants in the market are convincing the chief to kick Soo-Kwang out, it suddenly rained. But the skies immediately went bright when Seul-bi came running towards Soo-Kwang’s fish stall.
As Soo-Kwang is living with the name Myeong-Seong, the people in the market got confused when Seul-bi kept on calling him by a different name but they immediately shrugged it off. Soo-Kwang paid for Seul-bi’s taxi fare and asked why she came to him.
Seul-bi lied and just told him that she can’t recall anything and the only person she can remember is him. Soo-Kwang couldn’t believe what is happening but his doubts were halted when a customer arrives.
Unaware that touching Seul-bi will let her read a person’s future, the customer pushed her away, making the young goddess of luck see that she should not buy mackerel.

The customer swiftly left after taking her items. Soo-Kwang saw that she forgot her umbrella so he took it and ran after her. Seul-bi, on the other hand, found the customer’s credit card and accidentally started making purchases here and there.
Soo-Kwang tried not to get mad and just paid for the purchases Seul-bi made through the credit card. He told her to go to the police station and ask them to help her find her mother but he changed his mind after seeing drunk middle-aged men staying inside.
He brought Seul-bi to his home and let her sleep on his bed after witnessing her having a nightmare. While half-awake, Seul-bi accidentally touched Soo-Kwang’s hand and sees a prediction.
The next morning, everything Seul-bi said about the black fishes and Busan Front Sea restaurant came true. Thinking that it might only be a coincidence, Soo-Kwang went on his day after bringing Seul-bi to the police station.
However, Seul-bi left the station and continued watching over him from afar. Rumors already spread like wildfire that Seul-bi and Soo-Kwang are in a relationship so when it reached the loan sharks, they thought that kidnapping her would make the latter pay his debts.
