In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Ivanna Sakhno, who plays Shin Hati in Ahsoka, spilled some major details about her villainous role in the series where she discussed how her character unfolds as the antagonist.

"Shin is quite an intense and ambitious Force-wielder. She is very skilled in lightsaber combat. She is a new character, so I don't want to give away too much of who Shin is, as I would love the audience to be able to discover her," she said.

"I hope that despite her darkness of a character, we're able to also expand our understanding of that darkness within someone and the reason behind it. I love her. I really care so much about her, and I feel like it's my job to take care of her and protect her."

The actress also discussed the bond that she had with the recently-passed Ray Stevenson, who plays Baylan, while filming the series.

"Ray would constantly make noises," Sakhno shared with a laugh. "I remember the first scene that we were filming, you came up with a song for Shin. I can't say too much of the scene itself, but Ray would just constantly walk around like, 'Who let the Shin out? Who, who, who…?'"

Based on the details that Sakhno revealed in the interview, it sounds like Shin is going to be an integral part of the series and is also a character that will bring a huge threat to Ahsoka's journey.

There are certainly a lot of intriguing aspects about the character, especially with her origins and the side that she is on in this battle. There is potential that she could end up becoming a character that fans will love once the series ends.
