Star Wars: Ahsoka Reportedly Finds Its Live-Action Ezra Bridger

Ever since the Ahsoka series was announced, there have been speculations that the series will feature the live-action debut of Star Wars Rebels character Ezra Bridger and there have also been rumors and guesses about the actor who will play the role. As Lucasfilm remains mum on the casting, it looks like we finally have the name of the actor who is playing the character.

According to Cinelinx, The Inspection and King Richard actor Eman Esfandi has been tapped to play the live-action Ezra Bridger in Ahsoka. However, they didn't mention the details on how the character will play into the story of the series or how many episodes will he appear in.

We do have to take note that the report has neither been confirmed by Lucasfilm nor reported by the major trades so we still have to take it with a grain of salt for now.

Aladdin star Mena Massoud was previously rumored as the actor who was cast to play Ezra Bridger although it was never confirmed by either Lucasfilm or the actor himself. However, he has made hints before on social media that he might actually be playing the role although it looks like he was just playing along with his fans.

It is interesting to hear that Lucasfilm may have found its actor to play Ezra Bridger in live-action. While the actor might be unknown, it looks like Lucasfilm is confident that they have the right person who can play the role (assuming that the report is true) and it's curious to see how it will all play out.

For now, we shall wait for any eventual confirmation from Lucasfilm regarding Esfandi's potential casting in the series unless they decide to keep it as a surprise until it airs.
