Ahn Hyo Seop picked the best project he had ever made yet.
Ahn Hyo Seop saw his career skyrocket after starring in the 2022 hit series, A Business Proposal. But in the past years since his debut in 2015, he already starred in several dramas and web series.
Among his nearly 20 projects, the actor named the best project he had had so far.

Ahn Hyo Seop Picks Best Project
The actor, so far, starred in several series already, including Splash Splash Love, One More Happy ending, Happy Home, Entertainer, Three Color Fantasy – Queen of the Ring, My Father Is Strange, Still 17, Abyss, Dr. Romantic 2, Lovers of the Red Sky, Top Management, and A Business Proposal.
Although the latter earned positive responses from the public, the actor told Esquire Korea during his interview with the magazine that Dr. Romantic 2 remains the most special to him.
According to Ahn Hyo Seop, the medical drama became the most meaningful project as it made him realize that acting was the right career path after all. He also learned a lot from his cast members, especially from Han Suk Kyu.

“Instead of teaching me how to act, he taught me how to approach acting through his actions, and I was completely persuaded by them,” he described. “It’s not that he told me to do this or do that, but rather I watched him and learned,” he said.
In the series, Ahn Hyo Seop needed to learn medical terms in Korean. Since he is fluent in English, he found it difficult to pronounce English words using Korean pronunciation.
Ahn Hyo Seop Still Sees A Business Proposal As Special Project
Although Dr. Romantic 2 outshined all the titles, the actor said his personality is much more similar to his Kang Tae Mu role in A Business Proposal. This explains why he received positive feedback about how comfortable he felt while playing the role.
As for the reason why he grabbed the chance to take on the role, he reportedly decided on it after reading three episodes.
“I didn’t even worry about whether or not it would turn out alright. I knew it would be fun, so I enjoyed working on it, and all the cast members and staff on set enjoyed it too,” he went on.
Ahn Hyo Seop’s A Business Proposalended with a whopping 11.4 percent viewership rating on its last episode.
