After participating in the Winter Olympics several times, Kim Yuna will focus on her personal life this time. Before retiring, she scored several medals including gold at the 2010 Olympics and silver at the 2014 Olympics.
She also brought home several recognitions from the Four Continents, Grand Prix Final, World Junior, and Junior Grand Prix Final.
As her professional figure skating career is already over, the figure skating queen now gears up to marry the love of her life.
Figure Skater Kim Yuna Is Getting Married
Newsen confirmed the news that Kim Yuna and Forestella member Ko Woo Rim are tying the knot soon.
The news outlet quoted the statement released by Ko Woo rim’s agency, Beat Interactive. It disclosed that the couple has been dating for three years and would get married in October.
“The wedding will be held in private with close relatives and acquaintances so we ask for your understanding that we will not share details about the specific wedding date or venue,” it said.

The official release added that Kim Yuna and her soon-to-be husband met at the celebration of the All That Skate ice show in 2018.
Ko Woo Rim is a member of Forestella, a quartet that won JTBC’s Phantom Singer 2. He is also a graduate of the Seoul National University.
Even after the marriage, the singer will still be part of the group.
Kim Yuna, Ko Woo Rim’s Dating Rumors Before Marriage Announcement
The official statement was released hours after dating rumors were publicized.
The Fact shared exclusive photos of the couple having a late-night date, adding that they have been together since December 2021. The photos were taken on July 23, with insiders noting that they were together for 11 hours from 2:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m.
Before the marriage confirmation, the report disclosed that the two were already planning to get married.
“The rumors that the two have been dating since December of last year have been quieting down [and becoming reality]. From what I know, their relationship recently changed from just dating to rumors of getting married in October because they have confirmed their love for each other,” the insider said.
With the revelation about their upcoming marriage, Kim Yuna and Ko Woo Rim’s fans have already sent their best wishes to them.
