The WandaVision spinoff, Agatha: Coven of Chaos, is expected to begin production soon, given its tentative 2023 release, and while plot details are still being kept under wraps by Marvel Studios, it is speculated to center Agatha (Kathryn Hahn) being the protector of Wanda’s reincarnated kids, Tommy and Billy. The series is also rumored to officially introduce Mephisto (presumed to be played by Sacha Baron Cohen) as the main villain behind the strings.
While nothing has been set to stone yet as Marvel has not even released the official teaser trailer for the show, a new report from Parade indicates that Isabelle Fuhrmann has been reportedly cast in Agatha: Coven of Chaos in another mystery role. Fuhrmann is known best for her role as Esther in Orphan and Orphan: First Kill, although she has also appeared in The Hunger Games franchise as Clove.
Now, apart from Fuhrmann’s mystery role, another actor has been reportedly cast into Agatha: Coven of Chaos as the Hulkling, who is part of the Young Avengers. As far as previous reports go about using the Agatha spinoff to introduce the Young Avengers, this just further invites the possibility of the YA debut into the MCU, especially with Heartstopper’s Joe Locke confirmed to be a part of the cast to play as Wiccan aka one of Wanda’s reincarnated kids.
Aside from Isabelle Fuhrmann, Joe Locke (Wiccan) and Teddy Altman (Hulkling), the Agatha: Coven of Chaos ensemble also includes Kathryn Hahn as the titular character, Sacha Baron Cohen, Aubrey Plaza, Sasheer Zamata, Ali Ahn, Maria Dizzia, and of course, the return of original WandaVision actors such as Debra Jo Rupp as Ms. Hart, and Emma Caulfield Ford as Dottie.
For now, you can expect Agatha: Coven of Chaos to debut on Disney+ in late 2023 or early 2024. You can check out more updates on this story here.
