Agatha: Coven of Chaos Star Reveals First BTS Look at WandaVision Spinoff


As previously reported, the WandaVision spinoff series Agatha: Coven of Chaos finally begins filming this week. A lot of fans are anticipating more details regarding the series beyond what was announced and whether we will see some behind-the-scenes photos that will give us a clue about what they have in store.

Now, we have our very first behind-the-scenes photo from the filming of the series thanks to an Instagram story posted by cast member Joe Locke. While he didn't give away any plot details, he did share a photo of the set chair that reads "Agnes of Westview" on the back.

"Ahhhh what is happening," the actor wrote in his caption followed by the mind-blown emoji hinting at his excitement about working at the series.

The cast also includes Kathryn Hahn, Aubrey Plaza, Patti LuPone, Debra Jo Rupp, Emma Caulfield Ford, Sasheer Zamata, Maria Dizzia, Ali Ahn, Miles Gutierrez-Riley, Okwui Okpokwasili, David Payton, David Lengel, Asif Ali, Amos Glick, Kate Forbes, and Brian Brightman.

Jac Schaeffer returned to serve as the head writer of the spinoff as well as direct episodes alongside Gandja Monteiro and Rachel Goldberg. It is reported that the series will consist of 9 episodes just like WandaVision.

Despite the behind-the-scenes photo not revealing any story about the series, it is still exciting nonetheless that we have our first look and it is the confirmation that filming is indeed already underway which was reported last week.

We should be hearing more potential details and behind-the-scenes photos about the series in the coming months as fans continue to speculate about what the Agatha Harkness-centric project will look like and whether it will have some tie-ins about Scarlet Witch or the Young Avengers as speculated.
