aespa Winter has been turning people's heads since her debut with the girl group.
Initially, Winter thought that the SM Entertainment recruiting agent who approached her to become a trainee was scamming her. At that time, she reportedly could not believe it since the agent in question refused to tell her the name of the company he was working on.
But after going to Seoul with her parents for the audition, they found out that she was auditioning at SM Entertainment.
It was also a coincidence, as she landed on an agency where Taeyeon – who she reportedly looks like – currently works as the leader of the girl group, SNSD or Girls' Generation.

aespa Winter, Kim Taeyeon Resemble?
Fans flocked on Pann Nate, where they shared divided opinions whether they think Taeyeon and Winter look alike.
Some users said they first noticed the two K-pop idols' resemblance when aespa released the first teaser images. Even in her pre-debut photos, she also looks like her senior.

While most of them agreed, others said they are both pretty but do not look alike. Many fans also said that Taeyeon looks younger than Winter, when it is the other way around.
Regardless of the fans' comments, Winter can shine on her own that she usually appears on the Korea Institute of Corporate Reputation's brand value rankings for girl group members. For the month of December, she ranks second with an index of 2,290,901. She previously ranked first in November but faced a 40.66 decrease.
Winter, Taeyeon Now In One Girl Group
The two girl group members will soon debut together in a supergroup, Girls On Top, alongside BoA and other members from SNSD, aespa, and Red Velvet.
SM Entertainment confirmed on December 26 that it would present its sixth project group, Girls On Top, featuring BoA, Taeyeon, SNSD Hyeoyeon, Red Velvet's Seulgi and Wendy, and aespa's Winter and Karina.
Their debut date has not been confirmed yet. But fans expect to see them perform on a special stage at the agency's virtual concert SMTOWN LIVE 2022: SMCU EXPRESS @KWANGYA on January 1. Girls On Top will also drop their first song on January 3.
