More details about the Korean action comedy film, Boss, have been revealed, including the inclusion of Jo Woo Jin to the cast members.

Jo Woo Jin and Jung Kyung Ho hyped their fans when the Boss team confirmed that the duo would work together on the film. Both actors have huge fandoms due to the flicks they worked on in the past years.

For Jo Woo Jin’s part, he debuted in the SBS TV series, OB & GY, and continuously starred in more movies and shows, including Mama, Venus Talk, Inside Men, Real, The Fortress, Trade Your Love, The Book Fish, Hard Hit, Kingmaker, Hunt, Warrior Baek Dong Soo, Empress Ki, Miss Korea, Mr. Sunshine, Happiness, and Narco-Saints.

Meanwhile, SNSD Sooyoung’s boyfriend rose to fame after playing supporting roles in Time Between Dog and Wolf and I’m Sorry, I Love You. His acting skills led him to become the lead star of Smile You, Missing Nine, Prison Playbook, Hospital Playlist, and When the Devil Calls Your Name.

This time, the two actors will come together to work on the film Boss.

Jo Woo Jin Joins Jung Kyung Ho in Boss

The Korea Times confirmed that actor Jo Woo Jin joined the cast members of the upcoming Ra Hee Chan-directed film.

He will play the role of Soon Tae, a man who joins a gang to save his family’s Chinese restaurant. Due to his skills, he gets promoted to the gang’s second-in-command position. However, he wants to start a franchise of his restaurant instead.

It will mark his new project after starring in Kingmaker, Alienoid, and Netflix’s Narco-Saints.

Jo Woo Jin will work with Jung Kyung Ho, who scored the role of the crime boss’ grandson, Kang Pyo.

The other cast members of Boss include Park Ji Hwan, Lee Kyung Hyung, and Oh Dal Su.

“'Boss' features a stellar cast and crew who will pour their hearts and souls into the production. Please look forward to the comical story of various characters competing for the position of the next gang leader,” production company Hive Media Corp said.

The production house added that it would begin shooting and recording the film in the first half of 2023. No official release date has been confirmed yet.

The film’s director previously worked on Mr. Idol and Going by the Book.

While waiting, fans can watch the two actors’ next projects for now.

Jo Woo Jin’s Harbin is an upcoming spy action film that explores the lives of Korean Independence activists during the 1900s.

The actor will join Hyun Bin, Lee Dong Wook, and Jeon Yeo Been in the series.

Jung Kyung Ho, on the other hand, will appear in the plastic surgery themed series, Men of Plastic, with The Roundup star Ma Dong Seok. He will also be part of the tvN drama, One Shot Scandal.
