A Quiet Place: Day One still has no official synopsis, but the title implies that the film will be about the experiences of a different set of people on the first day of the invasion.

The first two movies in the franchise focused on the lives of the Abbot family, who lived in New York until the sightless aliens invaded the Earth and pushed human beings to the brink of extinction within weeks. The aliens, called the Death Angels, had super-evolved hearing that forced humans to adapt quiet means of living to survive.

The first film introduced us to Day 89 before leaping forward to the events in Day 472 and Day 473. A Quiet Place Part II tells the events in the days after that.
