Adam Savage’s Tested Gives an In-Depth Look at Sideshow’s Baby Yoda Statue

Ever since we met Baby Yoda in The Mandalorian, fans have been going crazy for Baby Yoda merch online. While we have stuffed toys and interactive dolls, Sideshow is giving us this replica that looks like it came straight from the show. We just got an in-depth look at the statue thanks to Adam Savage’s Tested.

Check it out:

We visit Sideshow Collectibles’ headquarters to get a close-up look at their prototype of The Child life-size figure from Star Wars The Mandalorian! This casting comes directly from Legacy Effects’ molds that were used for the making of the baby Yoda puppet used for production--the closest we'll get to seeing the real prop! (Update: Regarding The Child Life-Size Figure by Sideshow. We can confirm that it will have a brief production window and that it will be fulfilled on a first-come-first-served basis. Although each statue will not be individually numbered, it will be considered a Limited Edition as defined by its production run.)

As confirmed in the video, this Baby Yoda does not move, and is meant to be for display only. With that being said, the detail on this thing is fantastic. You can see all the pores and wrinkles on the skin, and the hair is even meticulously placed on the head. It even comes with the little piece of the Razorcrest which it's hiding in its hand.

If you want to get in on this piece, you can put down $375 for the statue. If you’re not willing to pay that large an amount, Sideshow is also willing to have you cover that cost in installments. You can pre-order it here.

With The Mandalorian Season 2 coming out in October, Tested is surely building up the hype. Hopefully, we get a trailer soon. Catch Mando and Baby Yoda on Disney+.
