DC Fans Can’t Help But See Ben Affleck’s Batman In Titans’ New Promo

Ben Affleck's future in the DC Extended Universe might be uncertain, however, DC fans can't help but see the Batfleck in a new promo for the DC Universe streaming service's Titans series.

Taking to the official DCU Twitter account, Warner Brothers just released a new animated promo for Titans and a few seconds into the preview, viewers get to see the iconic cape and cowl of the Dark Crusader in a shadowy silhouette.

Though it comes as no surprise to see the shape of Robin standing in front of the shadow of Batman in the new Titans promo, the outline of the Dark Night very much closely resembles the DCEU's version of the Dark Knight played by Affleck. While it could be argued that the silhouette could stand for a generic version of the Caped Crusader, fans can't help but see Batfleck in the image.

Could this mean Affleck's appearance in Titans? There's been a lot of Bat talk in the series as of late – sure, Robin might be the star of the show, but Dick Grayson also brings with him a pretty complex story explaining why he decided to leave Batman in the first place. With so many daddy-bat issues on his back, it wouldn't come as a surprise seeing Batman in a flashback or maybe in a future scene in Titans. Anything is possible, really. After all, the DCEU and the DC Universe streaming site are both properties of Warner Brothers so it really shouldn't be a problem.

Titans is available for streaming on DC Universe.
