Superman Faces the Press in Latest Batman v Superman Image

A month remains until the premiere of Zack Snyder's Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and with that comes plenty of hype including new posters, images, trailers, official runtime news, Blu-Ray release news, and the likes.

Now, the latest image from the official Dawn of Justice Twitter page is the Man of steel standing in front of the press. It's captioned: "The world needs to know what happened." This is in reference to Holly Hunter's Senator Finch's line at the San Diego Comic-Con 2015 trailer.

What does this mean?

Since Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice happens after the events that occurred in Man of Steel, where the Battle of Metropolis caused significant destruction and deaths upon the city, it could be Henry Cavill's Superman having to explain the destruction. Humanity wants the superhero to be accountable of his actions.

Even though Kal-El saved the world from General Zod (Michael Shannon), there are still many who are having doubts as to the alien's true intentions.

It would be interesting to see how this unwanted public attention affects Superman in Dawn of Justice, which also seems to coincide with Jonathan Kent's (Kevin Costner) doubts about Clark revealing his true nature and how the world isn't ready to comprehend that kind of power.

Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice hits theaters on March 25.
