It’s Disgusting to Call This Love or Koikimo is gaining the attention of anime fans since its anime adaptation release this year. The romantic comedy series is about Ichika and Ryou wherein Ryou is an eligible bachelor with straightforward ways to capture the heart of Ichika. Ichika, on the other hand, is a high school student who believes that Ryou’s tactics are disgusting but Ryou considers her responses as a form of love.
The show got anime fans intrigued with its entertaining plot and interesting characters. Ryou and Ichika both have well-written personalities that some can easily relate to. Even better, the comic relief of the series made fans hooked and curious as to what will happen to Ryou and Ichika.
For those who are wondering, Koikimo is based on a manga. It was serialized online through Ichijinsha’s Comic POOL in January 2015. Fans can collect it in eight tankobon volumes.
According to Mogusu, Koikimo’s creator, the manga finished with a total of 8 volumes. She made the announcement via Twitter. She also thanked her fans for supporting her work for almost five years.
