WandaVision Showrunner Addresses Magneto's MCU Arrival

The latest episode of WandaVision already revealed the truth about Maria Rambeau after all this time. But will the Marvel Cinematic Universe series also address another important comic book parent? Showrunner Jac Schaeffer has just spoken up about the possibility of Magneto, aka Wanda's father, making an appearance in the show.

Schaeffer recently spoke to ComicBookMovie where she was asked whether Wanda's family history from the comics will be referenced in the series. Not surprisingly, the showrunner was quick to react to the question.

"Oh, you're sneaky, just slipping that one in like ‘No big deal, just going to ask her about mutants," Schaeffer said. She then pointed out that she will need to avoid possible spoilers.

"Just going to keep my voice normal, not tip my hand. Yes, I cannot speak of such things, but I appreciate your question," Schaeffer said with a laugh.

Although Schaeffer didn't confirm that the X-Men will show up in WandaVision, fans noticed that she was pretty defensive about Magneto being a part of the series. Some immediately thought that it could mean the mutant will either be referenced or actually appear in the show.

For now, it has not yet been confirmed whether Magneto will be confirmed to be Wanda's father in WandaVision. With that in mind, it's best to take his possible appearance with a grain of salt. Stay tuned for more updates on this story.
