It looks like The Falcon and The Winter Soldier just keeps getting better and better every week. Not surprisingly, the latest episode has once again blown fans away with some interesting revelations and introductions. In addition to that, Episode 5 may have teased at the origin story of a new Marvel Cinematic Universe character.

BE CAREFUL! The following contains The Falcon and The Winter Soldier Episode 5 SPOILERS! Proceed with CAUTION!

The latest episode of The Falcon and The Winter Soldier featured Sam Wilson and Bucky Barnes finally making a move to take back the Captain America shield. However, John Walker wasn't ready to give it to them and they had to fight him for the shield.

Luckily, Sam and Bucky ultimately won after breaking Walker's arm. Unfortunately, Sam's wingsuit was also badly damaged in the fight.

The damage is understandably bad and Sam seemed ready to discard it or hand it over to another hero. When Joaquin Torres asked him what he should do with the wings, Sam enigmatically says "keep 'em."

Naturally, fans are loving this move considering that Torres is set to be the next Falcon. Although the character had a completely different (and rather grisly) comic book origin, it looks like the Marvel Cinematic Universe is giving Torres a more realistic story arc.

We're loving the idea of Sam handing the wingsuit to Torres although the wings will need a lot of work. Hopefully, we'll get to see what Torres does with the wingsuit and that he gets to take on the Falcon mantle in the MCU.

The Falcon and The Winter Soldier Episode 5 is now available on Disney+.
