Samara Weaving Says Bill and Ted's Daughters are Smarter Than Their Dads in Face the Music

There is little doubt that fans are already looking forward to the return of Keanu Reeves and Alex Winter in Bill and Ted Face the Music. But will the upcoming sequel confirm that the duo's own daughters are just as clueless as their dads? Samara Weaving has just revealed that her character is going to be a little smarter than her father.

Weaving recently spoke to Collider about her upcoming projects including Face the Music and she was asked if her character Thea 'Little Ted' Preston and Brigette Lundy-Paine's Billie 'Little Bill' Logan will be too similar to their fathers. Interestingly, Weaving stated that although they're not as clueless, the daughters have the same passion as their dads.

"I will say that the apple doesn't fall far from the tree. They're slightly more clued in than their fathers. They can join the dots a little quicker, but they are unaware of that," Weaving said. She then continued by pointing out that the girls actually idolize their fathers in their own way.

"They still have that childlike view of the world. They're unaware. If you told them about something bad, they'd be very, very upset. They're just obsessed with music and their dads. That's really their entire world," Weaving concluded.

It's awesome to know that we're getting Bill and Ted as well as their daughters who are somehow still like them. Needless to say, it will be fun to revisit the duo later this year.

Bill and Ted Face the Music is scheduled for release on August 21.
