There is little doubt that people want to learn more about Sylvie after the fugitive Variant debuted in the second episode of Loki. For instance, viewers have been wondering why Sylvie's crown has a broken horn.
So what happened to the crown? Sophia Di Martino offered an interesting explanation on why the Variant's headpiece has been damaged.
When we first see Sylvie in Loki Episode 2, one of the first things that people noticed was that her crown was missing a horn. Screenrant recently asked Di Martino about her character's Loki crown and she had a cool explanation for the damage.
"Sylvie's been on the run for a long time, she's been hiding out in apocalypses. She's been brawling a lot, she's been beating a lot of people up," Di Martino said. She then revealed that all that action may have led to the crown getting beat up as well.
"I think the horn is probably broken somewhere along the line. It's also, I believe, inspired by the comics and the Lady Loki character. It says a lot about Sylvie - she's wearing a crown, but it's kinda broken," Di Martino concluded.
We certainly get an idea of why the crown has been damaged. At one point during a fight, Sylvie had actually used her crown as a weapon. With that in mind, it looks like the crown is lucky to still remain somehow intact.
We'll get to learn more about Sylvie in Loki Episode 4 which premieres on Disney+ on June 30, 2021.
