Fans already suspect that the Justice League Snyder Cut is not going to be a three-hour film. But just how long is Zack Snyder's upcoming project? The filmmaker may have confirmed that the Snyder Cut of the DC Extended Universe flick is going to turn into a limited series.
Snyder recently spoke to The Film Junkee where he shared new details about the Snyder Cut. Interestingly, the Army of the Dead director stated that his version of the DCEU movie will actually be split into six parts.
"The thing about the movie I think that's interesting is that, the way I constructed the cut was, it's six chapters, right?" Snyder said. "So, it was always this chaptered concept, you know, like where the first section says 'Part 1' and then you have this little section, and then 'Part 2,' and you have this other section, and then 'Part 3,' all the way through, six parts, and then epilogue."
This sounds like the best way to go about the project since Snyder is determined to tell a carefully crafted tale. But when will we get a glimpse at his vision? Snyder admitted that a new trailer will be released although it's still going to be a lot like the first one.
"Steph and I colored a black & white version of the trailer, and so, the first version I'm gonna put out, and probably what we're gonna talk about on Tuesday, will be the black & white version of the trailer," he said.
The Justice League Snyder Cut has not yet been given an official release date although it is already expected to air on HBO Max next year. In the meantime, fans can look forward to the new trailer that will be dropped on Tuesday, November 17.
