It looks like Bruce Campbell got exactly what he has been campaigning for. The Ash vs Evil Dead star has just teased on his cameo in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.
It's no secret that Campbell has been trying to get director Sam Raimi to cast him in a special role in the Marvel Cinematic Universe sequel. The veteran actor had been actively campaigning for a part in Doctor Strange 2 and fans loved the idea. But is it actually happening? Check out his latest tweet below.
Boy, it was a blast, working in a certain city, with a certain director on a certain movie with a certain actor - it sure was! pic.twitter.com/1q8pga0Miu— Bruce Campbell (@GroovyBruce) February 27, 2021
"Boy, it was a blast, working in a certain city, with a certain director on a certain movie with a certain actor - it sure was!" Campbell wrote.
Well, he didn't exactly reveal anything here but we already know that Campbell is currently in London, thanks to his previous tweet. We also know that Doctor Strange 2 is being filmed in the same location with Raimi and Benedict Cumberbatch. Maybe it's a different project but here's hoping Campbell finally got his dream to join the MCU.
It's not exactly impossible to see Campbell in Doctor Strange 2. After all, it's being directed by Raimi, who has regularly added Campbell in almost every movie he's worked on. That includes the Spider-Man trilogy Raimi helmed where Campbell played a different character in each film.
