It looks like Attack on Titan Season 4 is far from over. The "last" episode of the final season just concluded with an awesome announcement: Attack on Titan Episode 76 is coming and it's set to premiere this winter.
Attack on Titan Season 4 Episode 16 has just been aired and it ended with a brief teaser confirming that the anime will be back with an all-new episode in Winter 2022. Check it out below.
The teaser starts with a message for the viewer asking if they have been waiting then continues to confirm that the wait was worth it. It is then revealed that the final season will be back with Attack on Titan Episode 76 which will air on NHK General this winter.
This is welcome news considering that Attack on Titan Season 4 Episode 16 didn't feel like a proper ending for the anime. After all, there is still a lot to look forward to since the manga is not yet finished. With that in mind, the next few episodes of the final season could adapt the manga's last chapters.
There have been speculations that the anime will not truly conclude this March and that the final chapters of the manga will be adapted in a movie or a special episode. Luckily, the teaser that was dropped after the airing of Attack on Titan Episode 75 confirmed that we still have much to look forward to.
Attack on Titan Season 4 Episode 16 is now available on Crunchyroll and Funimation. Attack on Titan Episode 76 is titled Judgement and will premiere sometime in early 2022.
