Fans are currently intrigued by the upcoming Chilling Adventures of Sabrina series that is coming to Netflix, with an emphasis on horror and witchcraft. While some fans are worried about its quality due to some ties to Riverdale, the fact that it won't be crossing over to that series right away has made fans worry less. Another thing that will make fans more optimistic is the opening sequence, which looks great.
As fans can see, there are a lot of pages here that come from the recent Sabrina comic book of the same name, which will please those that have read the series. Obviously, the series is going to last a bit longer than the comic book but it is a nice touch that makes the Netflix serial feel a bit closer to its roots.
One cute thing fans will appreciate is the quick glimpse of classic Sabrina, which was more focused on comedy than anything creepy. Still, this is a solid use of the Archie Comics character and there's no doubt that fans young and old will be interested in this series. With the series coming out this week, fans have a lot to look forward to.
This horror line of comics started with Afterlife with Archie and has been expanding since. Chilling Adventures of Sabrina was the second horror-based comic to come from it, with Jughead: The Hunger and Vampironica coming afterward. A creepy Cheryl Blossom comic book is also on the way.
Chilling Adventures of Sabrina comes to Netflix on October 26.
