The Seven Deadly Sins English Dub is the English audio version of the anime series which is a high fantasy anime produced by Studio DEEN with characters are complex with multi-layered mythologies as it follows a band of knights in Britannia, one disbanded a decade ago, who was framed for a coup versus the Liones Kingdom.
Except that they didn't do it. The coup was brought by the Holy Knights, manipulated by a demon, Fraudrin, for which purpose is to unseal the Demon Race from being imprisoned.
The third princess of Liones, Princess Elizabeth Lioness, pursued to convince the Seven Deadly Sins through their leader, Meliodas, to be able to clear the tainted names and liberate the kingdom of Liones from the Holy Knights and Fraudrin.
When the Seven Deadly Sins fought the Ten Commandments led by Zeldris, brother of Meliodas, Meliodas' true identity was revealed, a shocker to say the least – Meliodas is the cursed son of the Demon King, with destiny intertwined intimately with Elizabeth.
The Seven Deadly Sins is based on the pages of the Japanese fantasy shōnen manga series of Nakaba Suzuki which was published in Kodansha's Weekly Shōnen Magazine where the chapters were compiled within forty-one tankōbon volumes.
Kodansha USA licensed the manga series for the English release where every volume will be released once every two months. The manga series of theSeven Deadly Sins ran from October 2012 and concluded in the 2020 issue #17 of Weekly Shōnen Magazine in March 2020.
The Seven Deadly Sins also has two original video animations (OVA) titled Ban's Additional Chapter which included the 15th volume of the manga, and the second composed of nine shorts with the limited edition of the 16th volume of the manga. Both OVAs were released in 2015.
The Seven Deadly Sins had various changes over the years with the production company turnover from A-1 Pictures to Studio DEEN in The Seven Deadly Sins: Imperial Wrath of the Gods and onwards.
Netflix holds the official license to stream The Seven Deadly Sins. Netflix subscription costs $8.99 per month for the basic plan, $13.99 monthly for the standard plan, and $17.99 a month for the premium plan.
The Seven Deadly Sins: Dragon's Judgment is considered as the final arc, as explicitly said in its trailers, which begs the question of whether the series would have another season. It's possible but it's too early to say that there would be. Given that the manga series is already over, there would only be a few materials left for the anime series to translate as it is already five seasons.
Currently, in its fifth season, The Seven Deadly Sins: Dragon's Judgement has lined up 24 episodes. With this, many have been wondering whether The Seven Deadly Sins: Dragon's Judgement will be dubbed in English.
Basing from the previous seasons, Netflix releases a dubbed version of The Seven Deadly Sins in a choice of the languages English, Spanish, French, and German. With the basis from other seasons, it means that there would be a delay in release for the English Dubbed Version of Season 5 which will likely be released by Spring 2021. Along with the release of the English dubbed version would be the dubs in Spanish, French, and German as well.
For now, what is being released on Netflix is the original Japanese audio of The Seven Deadly Sins along with the English subtitles.
