Yuji Itadori joined the Occult Research Club in school where they, unfortunately, unsealed a talisman belonging to a purely evil and powerful Curse, Sukuna. Because of this, the negative emotions strengthened by the magic of the sorcerers around the vicinity attract the Curses to the school.
Megumi Fushiguro is a young sorceress who confronted Yuji regarding the unfortunate event of freeing the talisman, the finger of Sukuna. To protect Megumi, Yuji swallows the finger and became the host of Sukuna.
They hatched a plan to eliminate Sukuna – delay Yuji's death until he swallows all the fingers of Sukuna to kill the Curse once and for all.

In Episode 18, Megumi and Noritoshi go on to confront their comparisons to each other in their similarities and differences through a battle.
