Still in his coma and talking to the previous wielders of the power that he possesses, Izuku is asked point blank if he has the resolve to kill someone who is beyond saving. To use his power to end the life of the villain who is currently in possession of One For All's opposition power, All For One. Izuku stands proud and explains that his power is meant for saving, not for killing and that he learned that from All Might. This is enough to pass the test laid out by the warriors that Izuku is talking to now, and thus he is granted their blessing to use his power to fight and save the current villain.
