Geoff Johns Teases a Bigger Role for Mera in Justice League

The President and Chief Creative Officer of DC Comics, Geoff Johns, has always had a liking for Aquaman and his wife, Meera. With the Queen of Atlantis finally making her way to the big screen Justice League, Johns is as excited as ever and it looks like he's expecting bigger and better things for Amber Heard's character in the upcoming DC movie.

Last weekend, Johns sent out a tweet saying that he's really, really excited for Zack Snyder's Justice League, most especially because it'll be the first ever live action film for the King of Atlantis' Queen, Mera.

Following up with another tweet, Johns reveals that though the character was seen on TV in Smallvill, Mera would be getting a bigger role in Snyder's upcoming movie.

The question that remains now is what kind of role Mera will take in Justice League. Will it be as major as Wonder Woman's (Gal Gadot) role in Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice, or will her role be more or less like a short introductory cameo like Aquaman's (Jason Mamoa) and the Flash's(Ezra Miller) in the 2016 DC superhero showdown?

Justice League is slated for release on the big screen on Nov. 27 this year.
