Kingdom Hearts is the series that continues to surprise people by its mere presence, due to the fact that it is a crossover between Disney and Final Fantasy. Since it debuted back in 2002, the game has become quite the phenomenon for better and worse, with numerous games coming out. As fans wait for the third (and maybe final) game in the series, they might be happy to know that Square Enix has a massive collection for them to get.
According to Amazon Germany and Koch Media, a massive collection of the series will be coming to the PS4 soon. It will collect all of the contents from Kingdom Hearts 1.5 + 2.5 and Kingdom Hearts 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue. There are six games in total here, though the original DS games are reduced to movies players can watch.
Unfortunately, it does continue the trend of Square Enix constantly re-releasing these Kingdom Hearts games. The 1.5 and 2.5 collections were originally separate releases on the PS3 before they were combined for a PS4 release. Meanwhile, Kingdom Hearts 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue has an HD re-release of the 3DS game Kingdom Hearts Dream Drop Distance. Admittedly, it also Kingdom Hearts: Birth By Sleep 0.2, which is a beautiful prologue to Kingdom Hearts 3, but it is pretty short.
The release date for this massive collection is supposedly on November 24. All of the collections are available now for purchase, however.
