Marvel Phase 4 Trailer Confirms Release Dates of Upcoming MCU Films

Marvel Studios has just released its Phase 4 movie trailer featuring new footage and confirming release dates and the titles for its upcoming movies. The studio has not released anything in the whole of 2020 due to the delays caused by the pandemic. Marvel is set to come back with some major blockbusters in 2021.

The studio has released its Disney+ series on WandaVision and The Falcon and The Winter Soldier shows, with more series to come. When it comes to their film slate, Marvel will release Black Widow on July 9, Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings on September 3, Eternals on November 5, and Sony's Spider-Man: No Way Home on December 17.



Aside from the slated movies in 2021, Marvel is also preparing more content for Disney+ that is in various stages of development. An example is the Moon Knight series and various other films. Some of the projects in the Phase 4 trailer were announced back in 2019. Other films such as the Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania has been confirmed since then. In a larger trailer for the Phase 4 movies titled Marvel Studios Celebrates The Movies, the trailer celebrated the franchise's legacy along with additional information.

The release dates for the other movies in the Phase 4 trailers include Doctor Strange in The Multiverse of Madness on March 25, 2022, Thor: Love and Thunder on May 6, 2022, Black Panther 2 on July 8, 2022, and Captain Marvel 2 on November 11, 2022. Meanwhile, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 will be released on May 5, 2023.
