Joseph Gordon-Levitt's fantastic performance in Christopher Nolan's The Dark Knight Rises remains to be one of the biggest what-ifs and missed opportunities in comic book film history. It was teased during the film's closing moments that his character Blake, later revealed to be "Robin" would be taking over for Bruce Wayne (Christian Bale) presumably in his own trilogy but for some reason, it never came to fruition.

Turns out, JGL's comic book film days are far from over and according to a new scoop reported by Murphy's Multiverse, he could be heading to the Marvel Cinematic Universe real soon. Insider Charles Murphy claims that he's been told by an anonymous tip that Gordon-Levitt has been in contact with the folks over at Marvel Studios. However, it remains unclear why JGL met with the studio but it's safe to assume that they're actually negotiating something.

Assuming that Joseph will indeed become part of the MCU in the future, which character do you think would be suited for the actor? Personally, I think it'd be cool to see him as Nova considering the project has been rumored to be in development for years now, or maybe someone from the X-Men? I also see him doing Johnny Storm aka the Human Torch justice although I'd prefer him to be on the younger side. The possibilities are endless and having JGL on board would be a massive score for Marvel Studios.

Speaking of the MCU, WandaVision will kick-off Phase 4 this January.
