Despite the fact that we're only five months away from the release of Marvel Studios and Sony Pictures' Spider-Man: No Way Home, the highly-anticipated project is still shrouded by mystery and a lot of it has something to do with the rumored involvement of Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield who many believe are set to reprise their respective Spidey roles to join Tom Holland. However, the people involved in the film have either played coy or straight up denied the rumors.
It's hard to tell when the actual trailer for Spider-Man: No Way Home drops but apparently, Sony and Marvel have silently begun their marketing ploy for the film. Upcoming LEGO sets for the film have leaked online ahead of its release and if you'll pay close attention to every detail, you'll probably get an idea of what to expect in the film.
The said toy sets feature Peter Parker, MJ, Vulture, and the addition of two unexpected characters — Wong and Doctor Strange. If you've been following the rumor mill, Benedict Cumberbatch is said to be making an appearance in the film but the studios never confirmed his involvement. Does it mean that there's actually a good chance that Tobey and Andrew will also show up in the film? Check out the images here:
Spider-Man: No Way Home is definitely shaping up to be one of the best MCU projects post-Avengers: Endgame and I couldn't help but feel stoked about all the possibilities. While I don't want to give fans false hopes, I'm actually confident that Holland will be joined by his fellow Spider-Man actors, and quite frankly, I don't see any reason why it shouldn't happen. I just wish Marvel and Sony would end our agony already and make the grand reveal.
Spider-Man: No Way Home is slated for release this December.
