Despite the fact that Wonder Woman 1984 ended up being a pretty divisive and "underwhelming" film, it still performed surprisingly decently at the box office and on HBO Max given the current COVID-19 situation we've all been dealing with, and naturally, this opted the folks over at DC and Warner Bros. to immediately greenlight a third Wonder Woman film which would see both Gal Gadot and Patty Jenkins return.

However, a new rumor suggests that Wonder Woman 3 could potentially lose Jenkins as director although previous reports have confirmed that she was set to helm the project. On the other hand, Gal Gadot's pregnancy might also play a major factor in the film being delayed but considering the fact that Gadot was able to finish filming the first Wonder Woman film all while she was 6 months pregnant, I don't see any reason why she couldn't fulfill her duties and pull of yet another "wonderful" feat.

Wonder Woman 3 is in active development.
