The legal issues between Scarlett Johansson and Disney finally came to an end last week when it was revealed that both parties involved in the shocking Black Widow lawsuit have agreed to a settlement. Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige was among the people who voiced their support for Johansson during the height of the controversy, even admitting that he was "angry and embarrassed" at Disney's decision to give Black Widow a hybrid release and make it available on Disney+.

Now, following the settlement, it looks like all is good between Feige and Disney. The Hollywood Reporter shared an editorial centered on the company's transition from Bob Iger to Bob Chapek and while Feige was previously critical of the new Disney CEO amid the Black Widow lawsuit, the MCU patriarch gave Chapek praise, calling him "a creative guy, a nice guy, a real guy". Feige added that Chapek also offers "just enough of an opinion to give good feedback."

Now that the issue has finally been resolved, the doors have once again been opened for Scarlett and Disney to have more collaborations in the future. As it stands, the upcoming Tower of Terror adaptation is now back on track with the actress set to produce and potentially star in the project. More importantly, her chances of making her way back to the MCU have undoubtedly increased, and while it's still a little too early to tell what happens next, lest we forget that the billion-dollar franchise is about to explore the Multiverse.

Marvel Studios' Black Widow is now available for streaming for free on Disney+.
