Black Panther actress Letitia Wright is once again under fire after several reports surfaced yesterday claiming that the Marvel Cinematic Universe star is still holding on to her stance against COVID-19 vaccines, even spreading theories on the set of Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. For the uninitiated, the Shuri actress made headlines last December when she posted a video that questions the efficacy of the said vaccines, despite scientific proof that they actually work.

While the actress never confirmed nor denied her stand on the matter, she was quickly labeled by fans as an anti-vaxxer. The backlash was pretty intense as well and it left Letitia with no choice but to take down her official Twitter account and she has never returned to the social media platform since then.

Following the actress' latest anti-vax controversy, some fans took to social media to call for her firing. It's worth noting that the first time the issue surfaced late last year, Wright never received that Gina Carano treatment from the House of Mouse who earlier this year got fired for airing her views on certain socio-political issues on social media including her anti-vaccine stance.

I find it a little weird that Disney never reprimanded the actress the first time around but I'm guessing the things she posted last year weren't as scandalous as Carano's spicy social media comments. Now, if the latest anti-vax issue is actually true, it would be safe to assume that the company is firing a warning shot against the actress. Whether or not this affects her role in the MCU remains to be seen.

Black Panther: Wakanda Forever hits cinemas in 2022.
