The long wait is over, Spidey fans! Marvel Studios and Sony Pictures have finally unveiled the grand trailer for the upcoming Phase Four film Spider-Man: No Way Home and we can now officially confirm that the leaks which surfaced over the weekend are in fact authentic!

The much-awaited trailer for the third installment in Tom Holland's Homecoming series dropped online shortly after its debut during Sony’s two-hour presentation at the 2021 CinemaCon and if you thought the leaked clip already broke the internet, the actual "proper" visual only doubled the hype surrounding the project which has been shrouded by mystery over the last couple of months.

There’s a lot to unpack in the trailer which is home to several awesome moments — from Peter Parker (Tom Holland) and Stephen Strange’s (Benedict Cumberbatch) encounter at the Sanctum Sanctorum to Doc Ock shockingly surfacing in Earth-616, plus teases of several familiar baddies from the Spidey film Universe.

If you’ve been keeping up with the latest rumors, chances are you already know which characters we’re talking about but of course, we’re not going to spoil the fun for you so just check out the trailer below and experience it for yourself.

If it wasn’t obvious enough, Spider-Man:  No Way Home will be the MCU’s take on the Spider-Verse saga and while “expected” faces like Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield didn’t appear in the first official trailer, it’s safe to assume that both Marvel and Sony are saving up the grand announcement for a later date. I guess the waiting game never stops but I’m all here for it!

Spider-Man: No Way Home will hit cinemas on December 17, 2021.
