The Clone Wars saga may have already come to a close earlier this year but StarWars fans and collectors won't run out of reasons to smile and be cheerful about as the good folks over at Funko have unveiled a new line of Pop! vinyl figures which will hit stores very soon! And by soon, I mean early November. A million times yes!
The forthcoming Star Wars: The Clone Wars wave will consist of seven news Pop! figures which include the members of the Clone Force 99 aka "The Bad Batch", the menacing Darth Maul with his double-bladed lightsaber, and two variants of the show's main protagonist Ahsoka Tano. The first one sees the padawan wielding her two new blue lightsabers given to her by her master Anakin Skywalker. The other one will be a Gamestop exclusive which sees Ahsoka in her Coruscant mechanic suit. All figures are now up for preorder via Funko's official online store. You know you want 'em! Ahsoka's journey in a galaxy far, far away may have ended in animated form but it continues in The Mandalorian Season 2 and we're finally going to get her in live-action form! It's long been dreamt about by avid Star Wars fanatics and it's truly amazing how everything is unfolding now, 12 years after the premiere of Clone Wars. As it stands, we still know very little about Ahsoka's involvement in season two but of course, it's safe to assume that she'll cross paths with Mando and the rest of his compeers. Also, the idea of Tano possibly teaming up with Mando and her potential interaction with The Child aka Baby Yoda is already a treat in itself that should get us all excited. I can hardly wait!
The Mandalorian Season 2 is coming to Disney+ on October 30th!
