It's no secret that the Darksaber will be in The Mandalorian Season 2. After all, it was one of the most stunning revelations in the Star Wars show's previous season finale. But will the legendary weapon stay in Moff Gideon's hands throughout the second season? There is a huge possibility it could return to its original owner, thanks to Sabine Wren.
Anyone who has seen Star Wars Rebels is well aware that Sabine was the one who has possession of the Darksaber. However, she would later hand it over to Lady Bo-Katan Kryze in the final season, making the latter the true leader of Mandalore.
So if Bo-Katan is the last person to have the Darksaber, how did it end up with Gideon in the first season finale of The Mandalorian? There's a good chance we'll find out in the second season and the revelation could be told by Bo-Katan.
Now, there's a huge possibility that it could be Bo-Katan herself who will reclaim the Darksaber in The Mandalorian Season 2. After all, it has already been confirmed that Katee Sackhoff will join the cast as the character she voiced in Rebels in the second season. However, that hasn't stopped fans from speculating that Bo-Katan will still need some help from Sabine.
For now, it is still unconfirmed whether Sabine will be jumping into live-action in the Disney+ series. With that in mind, it's best to take this with a grain of salt.
The Mandalorian Season 2 will premiere on Disney+ on October 30.
